Benks’ $69.99 Haven cases weave blue or red patterns into Kevlar, with a raised metal camera frame and covered controls for iPhone 18 Pro models.

Benks Haven Kevlar Cases Bring Woven Color and Camera Protection to iPhone 18 Pro

Benks’ Haven cases make Kevlar do double duty: protect an iPhone 18 Pro while carrying a woven pattern that’s part of the material itself. The Azure and Rouge models cost $69.99 each and come in sizes for iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max. My read is that the appeal lies in that combination of distinctive texture and practical coverage, rather than a decorative print laid over a standard shell.

Benks uses a 600D floating jacquard weave to create the designs. Azure pairs a dark base with sweeping lighter blues; Rouge sets a pale gold band against burgundy. The company says the colors and patterns are woven into the Kevlar fibers, with no laminated surface layer to peel away. Both cases build on Benks’ ArmorAir design and add a taller metal camera surround and an ArmorKey cover for the Camera Control button.

Jacquard weaving puts the pattern in the fiber

Jacquard looms create patterns by raising selected threads in sequence, a process Joseph-Marie Jacquard automated with punched cards in the early 19th century. The technique has long featured in silk textiles, including ties from mills near Lake Como, which Benks cites as an inspiration. Here, the loom’s logic shapes Kevlar: threads cross and float over one another to form the color and motif.

The 600D designation refers to yarn thickness. Benks says this finer, denser weave has a smoother feel and lets it keep the case slim compared with more common 1500D material. The company calls its Kevlar jacquard an industry first. That claim sits alongside a broader design shift: Benks has moved from the pixel-like champagne horse on its Knight ArmorAir to Haven’s large, flowing bands.

Coloring Kevlar is less straightforward than coloring many case materials, and the fiber is often associated with a plain dark finish. Benks’ approach makes the weave itself visible and tactile. The broad diagonal patterns give the back a clear focal point without relying on a repeating logo.

Two palettes, four phone colors

Azure uses layered blues, with lighter threads running diagonally across a navy base. In product images, the detail has a fine, stitched appearance. Rouge, named Rouge Valley Red by Benks, sets a light gold band against burgundy and adds woven contour lines. The palettes give buyers a straightforward choice between cool blues and warmer reds.

Benks displays the cases with all four iPhone 18 Pro finishes: Black, Glacier, Burgundy and Silver. Rouge and the Burgundy phone make a close color match; Azure works naturally with Glacier, while its contrast also suits Silver or Black. A matching ArmorPop grip and stand is available in each colorway for $29.99. Benks’ Haven tagline, “somewhere between here and away,” frames the cases as a more expressive take on everyday protection.

Camera and button coverage, with MagSafe support

The raised metal frame surrounds the iPhone 18 Pro’s camera area, which Benks says helps guard the lenses against scratches and bumps. A raised lip also lifts the screen from flat surfaces. Covered ArmorKeys sit over the side buttons, including Camera Control, and Benks says they retain a responsive click. The case has port cutouts, Kevlar along the edges for grip, and a built-in magnetic core for MagSafe accessories.

Haven Azure and Haven Rouge are listed at $69.99 each, with versions for iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max; Benks says they also fit the iPhone 17 Pro series. The company lists a one-year warranty, free shipping on orders of $39 or more, and a 30-day return period. For buyers who want color and texture without giving up a slim profile, the central proposition is clear: Benks has made the protective fiber itself the design.
